The Charity has this week confirmed that TV golden girl ‘Anne Diamond’ and broadcasting national institution ‘Mike Read’ have both signed up again to host next year’s Awards.  This week it has been announced that the Awards will return to the Park Plaza on Westminster Bridge in 2014.

Mike has hosted many hit shows on Radio 1, Capital Gold, BBC Radio 2 and Magic FM – just to name but a few.  He has won numerous ‘Broadcaster

Of the Year Awards’ including ‘The Sony’s’ and ‘Smash Hits’. He has also presented some of the most high profile music TV shows of all time including: ‘Top of the Pops’ and the acclaimed ‘Pop Quiz’.

While Anne Diamond really needs no introduction. The star of ‘Good Morning Britain’ for TV-am, she went onto host ‘Good Morning with Anne and Nick’ with co-host Nick Own for the BBC.  Anne currently presents a daily phone-in show for BBC Radio Berkshire and makes regular appearances airing her views and as a stand in host on ‘The Wright Stuff’.

New Date For Awards
The Charity has also confirmed this week that the date of the ‘Soldering On Awards 2014’ will move to Saturday 5th April.

The 2014 Soldiering on Awards will take place once again at the Park Plaza Hotel on Westminster Bridge.
