Its all systems go for ‘The Soldiering on Through Life Trust’ with a further strengthening of their management team. The Charity has announced the appointed Colin Debenham (44) as Trustee.  He join’s the team from the ‘Royal Air Force’ where he reached the rank of Wing Commander.

His final tour of duty was in the Headquarters the Ministry of Defence (Whitehall) performing the role of strategic planner within one of the two top-level budget areas of the Vice-Chief of the Defence Staff.  During this three-year period, he assisted with several major fund-raising projects, held on behalf of both Service and civilian charities.

Debenham has extensive experience in business development, personnel management, training, and finance and project management.

As a Trustee he will play an active role ALONGSIDE the Chairman and Treasurer on an ongoing basis.  He is also currently involved in a number of fundraising activities and events ranging from rail tours to auctions, and his main focus is currently coordinating the Grand Raffle – the Charities major fund-raising event of 2013.
