So now is the time to act if you want your nomination to go before the judges…
Our military personnel, and the families who support them, sacrifice so much in service of the nation, so it is only right that we celebrate them. This is precisely why the Soldiering On Awards exist.
However, for the Awards to truly reflect and recognise the best of the community, we need members of the public to look around them, at their friends, families, and communities, and tell us the stories of remarkable individuals and organisations doing impactful work for the advancement of the wider military family.
Excellence of this kind deserves to be showcased in the very best possible light – this means that nominators must invest time in crafting submissions that are worthy of their nominees. That’s where we come in!
We have published guidance in the form an accessible and easy-to-follow checklist that reflects the level of detail and supporting evidence sought by the Soldiering On Awards judging panel. For example:
- Tell us why your nominee deserves to be recognised
- Tell us what they have contributed and/or achieved?
- Give us details to support these claims
- Provide the right evidence
