PLEASE NOTE THAT NOMINATIONS FOR AWARDS 2018 ARE NOW CLOSED.
- All entries must be submitted using the online Nominations form.
- Deadline for entries: EXTENDED TO: 12:00 midnight on 3rd October 2017.
- The awards nominations are free to enter, and there is no limit to the number of nominations that can be submitted or categories that can be entered. Please complete and upload a separate entry form for each nomination you wish to submit.
- Please ensure that you read the criteria for the categories that you are entering people for, and check that your entry complies with them.
- We recommend that you include as much information as possible into your entry form within the word limits. The more information that you provide, the easier it will be for our judges to consider your nominee(s). Ideally, your entry should include 2 photographs. These should be in JPEG format, of at least 1MB, and should be uploaded during the entry process (see nominations pages).
- All entries in respect of Groups and Organisations should also, where possible, be accompanied by a relevant logo. This should be in JPEG format, not exceed 2MB, and should be uploaded during the entry process.
- You MUST confirm that the person being nominated, or the main, named representative of the Group/ Organisation being nominated, have been informed of the nomination and are content to have their names submitted.
- Use of Information. Please note that we will contact all Individuals or Groups nominated to obtain their agreement that we may share the information and associated images, etc. provided by you and them, with our employees, officers, representatives, the Judges, Award Sponsors and/or sub-contractors, in connection with the administration of the Soldiering On Awards and the aims and objectives. All such information shall be retained for an indefinite period for these purposes.
- Business of the Year Awards – If you have nominated your business, or your business has been nominated for an X-Forces Business of the Year Award, X-Forces will be in contact with you via email and/or telephone to gather more information and to provide additional support for you through the awards process. The Business Awards are open to all who wish to nominate any businesses started by former members of the Armed Forces Community. If you do not wish to hear from X-Forces, you can opt out at any time by letting them know via events@x-forces.com
- Filming and Photography. We may, at our discretion, choose to photograph, film, record and/or broadcast the Awards Night and associated events. We will ask the Individual or Group being nominated to grant us permission to use any relevant name/s, voice/s, likenesses, images, statements and contributions made by them at or in connection with the Soldiering On Awards event, and the associated activities of the Soldiering On Awards in any and all media (whether now known or hereinafter invented) throughout the world and in perpetuity. All such material shall be retained for an indefinite period for these purposes.
- The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into or feedback given regarding the selection of shortlisted nominations or winners.
